Iota is now in its third decade as a quarterly literary magazine. The new Editorial Team for the three poetry issues per year are based at the University of Gloucestershire, led by Nigel McLoughlin and the magazine is published by Templar Poetry. Poet and writer Jane Weir is the editor of the single issue dedicated to prose, life writing and fiction.
The new Iota is published in a larger format, with a full colour cover and at least 96 pages of new poetry, interviews, reviews and listings.
Submissions are welcome from across the world and the first two new issues have featured an excellent and diverse selection of poetry and poets. Iota invites submissions from Europe and beyond, including poetry translated into English. We also invite submissions of new work for review from both independent and established presses and publishers. All poetry submissions are read anonymously and are selected and published on merit alone.
Iota has launched a new major international poetry competition which has a generous prize fund, and the winning poets will have their work published in the magazine, as well as being invited to an awards event.
